NATIONAL WWI MUSEUM AND MEMORIAL MAIN GALLERYInspire your guests with a private viewing of the National WWI Museum and Memorial Main Gallery. Experience the songs of the period, see an original WWI tank, create your own propaganda poster and learn why the First World War wasn't the last. MEMORY AND EXHIBIT HALLThe Halls are great additions to any event. From 1926 to 2006 Exhibit Hall served as the main museum gallery. It now serves as space for limited-run museum exhibitions. Memory Hall looks much as it did when it opened in 1926. The interior, initially intended to be a meeting room, is adorned with impressive murals, wood paneling and an ornate ceiling. |
Steps to Book a Private or Corporate Event:
- Reserve Your Date
Please contact Carrie Shoptaw at 816.888.8111 or eventspace@theworldwar.org. We can place a hold on a date for a maximum of three weeks.*
- Schedule a Site Visit
Please call us at 816.888.8111 or e-mail eventspace@theworldwar.org to make an appointment to see the facility and discuss the event details.
- Submit a Deposit
In order to confirm your date, you must remit a $300 nonrefundable deposit (not required for events in the Classroom or Board Conference Room). You can pay by check or credit card.
*If the date you are holding is requested by another organization, we will ask that you confirm your date with a deposit within three business days or the date will be released to the next client. Please note that at this time, the Museum and Memorial does not book weddings or associated events.
