Story Time: One Boy’s War

Saturday, May 11 | 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Auditorium Lobby

Young men responded enthusiastically to news of war in Europe, thrilled with the idea of traveling across countries and embarking on adventures. The realities of the battlefield, from the dangers of new weaponry to the poor conditions of the trenches, quickly dampened their excitement. Join Museum and Memorial educators for a family-friendly craft and reading of “One Boy’s War” by Lynn Huggins-Cooper.
