The National WWI Museum and Memorial and KC RiverFest will join forces for Kansas City’s official Independence Day Celebration and fireworks display. In partnership with Cumulus Radio, the public is invited to celebrate our nation’s independence at the Stars and Stripes Picnic. Bring your friends and family to grab a bite to eat, shop at over 50 local vendors, listen to live music and enjoy fireworks over the Memorial.
The public is invited to gather as early as 3 p.m. for picnicking and shopping. A fireworks display will begin after dusk and last around 20 minutes. FREE to the public.
