In Conversation: Veterans Benefits

Thursday, Nov. 9 - Reception 5:30 p.m., Panel 6:30 p.m. Auditorium and Online

Nov. 11 is not only a day to remember the Armistice of WWI but also a day to recognize all veterans and their dedicated commitment to the U.S. Join us for a reception and a conversation that examines the myths and dispel the rumors of veterans benefits. Featuring members of the VA’s Kansas City Health Center, the national chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Kansas City chapter of the American Legion; moderated by Lt. Col. (ret.) Nikki Dean, a Museum and Memorial educator and interpreter. Whether a veteran, a family member or a member of the public who recognizes the importance of military service, we welcome your presence and support.

Free with RSVP | Auditorium and Online

At a reception before the panel, connect with local accredited veteran service officers to ask questions and receive advice on benefits, veteran community events and transition planning. All proceeds will directly benefit Kansas City veterans’ community projects.
