The Modernists is a group of individuals who challenge traditional norms and explore new ways to establish the National World War I Museum and Memorial as a dynamic force in Kansas City culture and a renewed birthplace of entrepreneurialism, spirit and local pride.
WHO: Young friends of the National World War I Museum and Memorial
WHAT: Provide innovative opportunities for young professionals to be involved in the mission of the Museum
HOW: Utilizing the symbol and spirit of the Museum and Memorial, the Modernists host unique events where young professionals can combine business enterprise with civic engagement in a meaningful way
The Modern Gala: ESPIONAGE
We are expecting you. By order of The War Office, you are instructed to save the date for The Modernists annual summer soiree on a dazzling downtown Kansas City rooftop space for rousing music, fortifying cocktails, secret areas, dancing and dares, and a diplomatic dash of old espionage spirit on Saturday, June 24 at 8 p.m. until the party self-destructs.
