Free admission to Black Citizenship exhibition

06/13/2022

In commemoration of the Juneteenth holiday, admission to Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow will be free to the public on Sunday, June 19 and Monday, June 20 (observed holiday). This special exhibition in the Wylie Gallery explores the struggle for full citizenship and racial equality that unfolded after the Civil War and leading into WWI.

In addition, be sure to join us on Sunday, June 19 at sunset (8:45 p.m.) for the first night of Taps at the Tower with a brief but moving ceremony dedicated to fallen Black soldiers and Black veterans. Presented in partnership with JuneteenthKC.
