In the style of a vintage postcard: 'Greetings from Operation: Us / Celebrating 100 years of Kansas City'

Operation: Us

Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026 | 6-8:30 p.m. National WWI Museum and Memorial

Opened as Liberty Memorial in 1926, the Museum and Memorial has convened generations of Kansas Citians for a century. Boasting the best urban sled slopes and skyline sunsets as vibrant as its fall foliage, its 47 acres have hosted everything: from concerts, festivals, ceremonies and vigils to sporting victories, civic rallies, weddings and breakups.

In an all-decades birthday bash on Kansas City’s Front Porch, celebrate what has sustained the Museum and Memorial as a beacon of remembrance and a cornerstone of community for the past 100 years: you.

$30 per person, $20 for Museum Members | Museum and Memorial
