Did you know doughnuts were made by The Salvation Army in World War I to help boost morale? Celebrate National Doughnut Day with these favorite sweet treats as we commemorate the contributions of The Salvation Army “Lassies” and all who supported our troops overseas during the war. “Dough-not” miss your chance to purchase Fairway Creamery doughnuts from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Museum and Memorial’s Main Entrance (while supplies last).
