Friday Film Series: Shoulder Arms

Friday, Sept. 30 - 7 p.m. Southeast Lawn

Bring out a late-evening picnic and enjoy a good laugh with the 1918 classic silent film "Shoulder Arms", starring comedic legend Charlie Chaplin. Watch him bumble through boot camp, make light of conditions in the trenches and rescue the French girl in a romp that is believed to be the first comedy film about war. Gather with us on the lawn beforehand for family-friendly ‘Become a Doughboy’ activities with a Museum educator. No rating. Runtime 46 minutes.
