In Conversation: The Legacy Jump

Saturday, May 25 | 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Auditorium and Online

On Veterans Day 2020, American Extreme orchestrated a skydive of nine veterans – each from a major conflict since the Second World War, along with a 9/11 first responder – onto the Museum and Memorial grounds. In tribute to the service of soldiers from the First World War, a symbolic “missing man” BASE jump was also performed off the 217-foot Liberty Memorial Tower.

Moderator (and former member of SEAL Team 7) Ryan “Birdman” Parrott converses in-depth with veterans of different wars about the event watched by nearly 8 million Americans and featured in the documentary “The Legacy Jump.” A screening of the documentary in the Auditorium Lobby follows at 1 p.m. Runtime: 73 minutes.
