Museum hours

Daily: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

U-shaped Drive: CLOSED

West Visitors Lot: Open - north end only

Kessler Rd: Open from Pershing Rd. to West Visitors Lot only

South campus: CLOSED

North campus: Open*

  • *Closed on May 30 at 3 p.m. for private event

Guest entry:

  • Enter at the Kessler Rd. and Pershing Rd. intersection.
  • Walk up the hill to the West Visitors Lot. (See ADA/Mobility Access)
  • Proceed to the Museum entrance.

ADA parking spots: First-come, first-served on the north end of the West Visitors Lot.

ADA shuttle:

  • 10 a.m.-5 p.m., every 10-15 minutes
  • Between the Kessler Rd./Pershing Rd. intersection and the West Visitors Lot, where accessible ramps lead to the Museum entrance.
  • Priority is given to Museum and Memorial visitors with mobility access needs. Guests accompanying a visitor with ADA needs may need to reunite at the West Visitors Lot.

KC Streetcar: Park near the KC Streetcar line and take the streetcar to the Union Station stop, then walk to the grounds entrance at Pershing Rd. and Kessler Rd. (Google Maps) (Apple Maps) (OpenStreetMap)

RideKC city bus to Union Station, then walk to the entrance at Pershing Rd. and Kessler Rd. (Google Maps) (Apple Maps) (OpenStreetMap)

Rideshare and taxis: Enter the grounds at Pershing Rd./Kessler Rd. and drop off/pick up at the West Visitors Lot.

The National WWI Museum and Memorial welcomes the world this summer to the official FIFA Fan Festival™ Kansas City. Fan Festival is scheduled to take place across 18 days.

Good news! The Museum and Memorial is OPEN every day 10 a.m.-5 p.m. throughout the summer, both when Fan Festival is open and closed. For detailed information about getting Museum and Memorial admission, accessing Fan Festival and the grounds, and security screening requirements:
