Opened as Liberty Memorial in 1926, the National WWI Museum and Memorial is celebrating its centennial this year.
Join us on a three-part walking tour series that carves through the history of the Museum and Memorial and the elements of its distinctive design, with this session focusing on interior architecture and recent Gallery renovations.

Shortly after the Armistice, Kansas City residents built the Liberty Memorial to honor those who served and died in the Great War and to serve as a beacon of freedom to the world. Today, Kansas Citians continue that legacy through an internationally-recognized museum, illuminating the war's global impact and enduring influence.
