As a Museum and Memorial donor or volunteer, your gift may be eligible to be matched by your employer or the company from which you retired. Many community-minded companies match their employees’ donations to organizations like the National WWI Museum and Memorial. While most programs match contributions dollar for dollar, some will even double or triple the amount of the gift. Some companies that have a matching gifts program are Sprint, General Electric, State Street and ExxonMobil, but there are many more. Check with your employer’s website or Human Resources Department to get started.
Please contact Mark Gunter, Vice President of Finance, for instructions at 816.888.8103. The gift will be made through UMB Bank in Kansas City. Information needed includes: name of donor, name of stock, number of shares, market value, ticker symbol, cost basis and donor intent/restrictions.

Please contact your tax advisor if you would like to take advantage of this provision. The National WWI Museum and Memorial is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. (EIN: 43-6052673)
