J.C. Nichols Auditorium

The J.C. Nichols Auditorium, featuring plush, comfortable seating, is perfect for corporate meetings and award ceremonies. The audio-visual system includes a data/video projector, a large presentation screen with retractable doors, podium with a screen in the console, lapel and hand held microphones and an AV technician. Food and beverage is not allowed in the Auditorium.

The uniquely shaped Auditorium Lobby features granite and black glass walls that frame the perfect setting for dinners and receptions. A projector, presentation screen and microphone are included for your event.

J.C. Nichols Auditorium & Lobby (Combination)

The Auditorium and Lobby are great for seminars, workshops, conferences or company meetings. Both spaces come fully equipped for your AV needs.

National World War I Museum Main Gallery

Looking to wow your guests or that special client? Want to thank your staff? Inspire them with a private viewing of the one and only National World War I Museum. Experience the songs of the period, see an original WWI tank, create your own propaganda poster and experience the stories of the Great War. Food and drink are not permitted in the Galleries.

Liberty Memorial Tower

Enjoy the best view of the Kansas City skyline as you gaze out from the observation deck atop of the Liberty Memorial Tower. While not available for rental by itself, the Tower and its incredible outdoor view can be added to any event.

Classroom

The classroom, with its exposed brick wall and WWI images, provides a great space for creative minds. With the dry erase board, TV/VCR combo & presentation screen this space is perfect for group retreats, small meetings or a break out room. The room can be set up in meeting or classroom style. Food for your meeting in the classroom or conference room must be ordered from the Museum’s Over There Café.

Conference Room

The conference room features a handsome table that will accommodate your meeting needs. This room is ideal for board meetings, planning sessions or a break out room, and it includes a moveable presentation screen and dimmer light switches. Food for your meeting in the classroom or conference room must be ordered from the Museum’s Over There Café.

Over There Café

Experience the pageantry of World War I – with music of the era, flags overhead and a poppy mural – in the Over There Café. It is the perfect space for morning meetings and intimate dinners. The cafe is equipped with a microphone and lectern for your event needs.

Memorial Observation Deck

The deck of the Memorial is a fabulous setting for elegant dinners and receptions and offers spectacular, panoramic views of Kansas City’s skyline. The 217-foot Liberty Memorial Tower provides the perfect centerpiece for your event.

Memorial Grounds

The Memorial Grounds are available April through October. This spacious setting is perfect for concerts, company picnics, family reunions or military change of commands.

Professional Commercial Photo Shoots
Ranges between $250 - $500 depending on complexity of shoot. Amateur photographers are welcome for no fee.

Please note that the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is not a site for weddings or wedding receptions.
